STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #4 : Braised cabbage

Hello ! Today we will prepare the braised cabbage .

For this we need :

  1. Сabbage
  2. Onion
  3. Carrots
  4. Sunflower oil
  5. Salt
  6. Tomato paste
    Prepare all the necessary vegetables .

Finely chop half of the cabbage .

Cut the onion half rings .

On a coarse grater grate the carrots .

Half of the carrots mixed with the cabbage , add salt and grind it all by hand to make the cabbage soft .

In boiling sunflower oil put onions and carrots . Lightly fry .

Put in the pan the cabbage , and fry on low heat for 15 minutes .

Add in the cabbage, tomato paste and simmer for another 20 - 25 minutes , until tender .

And that's what we've got !

Spread on a plate and add sour cream .
