this is a typical aceh cake,
Aceh is famous for its high culinary taste, such as noodle, coffee, sauce pliek, chicken cock apam and many others. Although famous for its myriad of traditional culinary delights, but not all young people now recognize the typical culinary origin of Aceh. Especially for those who originated and grew up in areas far from local customs such as urban people for example. They rarely know the typical aceh.

More than 154 typical food trasional is found in the earth Serambi Mekkah this aceh, but the existence of this typical food aceh day by day more and more disappeared along the development of this sophisticated era and the entry of new culinary from other regions, even the west though.

One of the traditional foods that have been forgotten by some people of Aceh, especially the younger generation now is kueh Apam. Apam is a food made from a mixture of rice flour, coconut milk, coconut water, water, and salt and sugar. The apam is cooked in a soil dish (ceuprok tanoh) name in aceh language.

It looks like a pancake, but its size is slightly larger.
to cook it by way of the first apam rice flour mixed with coconut milk, coconut water, and water. Then given a little salt and sugar to taste.
