wisps from a fantasy
faerie towns
tiny beasts perched on towers
Winter Walk by @torico is a photo essay crossed with her special brand of poetry. She's always been one of my favorite writers, and I'm pretty excited she's posting again!

This is a call
to the swans in your chest,
and the pterodactyls in your eyes,
and the primordial reptiles
swimming beneath your tongue.
A Very Urgent Message by @caitlinjohnstone is an opportunity to see a poet play with words while communicating a message about personal power.

“You're losing it,” he said. “Suicide? Again? We talked about that, man. There is an audience for suicides, you know that. I know that,” he released the straps and I shivered as they slithered back over my body, feeling like a hundred thousand crawling insects. “It pays well, if you know what you’re doing. But you’ve built up a following. They like... traditional fictional heroes. Flawed characters, sure. But they want them to win in the end.”
The Discussion by @felt.buzz is a continuation of the exquistite corpse story that I included in last weeks curation by blockurator. Its shaping up to be absolutely fantastic, and I love how he not only breaks the fourth wall but kicks it's pieces around a little.

Frightening as they may be, sirens warn of danger, but also promise help - an ambulance is on its way, the firetrucks are coming, somebody will get rescued. But in that place there is no rescue, not now, not in a million years. Hell is forever.
In the Dead of Night by @marie-jay is a free writing piece that freefalls into darkness and ends by holding a mirror to god's face. Absolutely stunning.
O,o feel fake newsy i wasnt even trying to poet, but ty :)
