If you are not taking care of your customer, your competitor will.

What is your mentality when it comes to customer service? Are you thinking of your customers as someone who is there to take care of you, or are you there to take care of them? We have all been exposed to fantastic customer service, and I guess most of us have been exposed to terrible customer service as well. Which one did you feel the best about? Of course, the one in which you received fantastic service.

But, what kind of service do you provide to your customers? When they think of you, will they think about you and smile, or will their blood pressure increase?

If you are not taking care of your customer, your competitor will. (Bob Hooey)

One of the worst things for customer service is the lack of competition. If you have the only store in town, then you might feel happy not giving good service, because you know that people are forced to come to your store no matter what. But, don't forget - if you provide bad service, you are tossing your customers into the arms of any competitor ready to knock on the door. And in a world in which Intenet makes everything so close and easy, it is even easier to find someone that will provide great service.

In other words, take care of your customers, and they will take care of you!

I hope you have liked this little encouragement. If you want to read more short articles like this, follow me on @steemit for a short encouragement or short leadership lesson every day!

I am trying to post such encouraging and small words of wisdom every single day. It might not be for you, but it sure is for me. Because, just like you need a shower every day, you also need some inspiring words of wisdom and good quotes every day.

So, even though you might not read the texts I write (which are secondary), actually reading the quotes and meditating on those for some seconds each day might actually have a very positive effect on your life!
