A while back I lambasted a company whose product and customer service sucks, imho.

So here's a positive review.

Three or four Christmases ago I got a Hydroflask from my niece and her husband. It's basically an individual stainless thermos with a rubber lid and handle. It keeps liquids hot for hours. I take it everywhere because I like my own espresso and hate giving vendors $4+ dollars for crap substitutes.

I noticed recently that the rubber lid was flaking onto the top of the flask. I called the company with no expectation--I wanted to know if this was a common occurrence after several years of constant use. They said their product had a lifetime warranty and sent a lid to me immediately via expedited service. How many companies do that? Not many! (Uggs, Canon, and Black & Decker in my experience deserve a shout-out as well.)

So if you need a last minute gift or just want a great thermos, visit their website. I told them I would do this and they thanked me profusely.

Great customer service should always be rewarded.
