What's up everyone. Here is an impactful post that is going to change your life. You won't want to miss this. The truth is uncovered, laid out to bare, and finally you can sit back relax and know that because you have read this post - you now see the world differently.

WTHAWDH

Just kidding.

You will not find any answers that you are looking for by reading this post. In fact, you might just be asking yourself that question listed in this picture.

But honestly, if you are still here - thank you. I look forward to meeting you someday, preferably online. Not that I don't want to meet you in person, it's just that we don't have that kind of time and there are alot of us.

So anyway,

My name is John Spalding and I am the manager of this page for G1NBC Cuyahoga County which is also connected to my Steemit Account via the steempress plugin. I like it because I'm lazy and I don't want to post things twice. Sure, the plugin developer gets a percent of my power but I'm comfortable with that contract. I'm not a developer I'm a broadcaster/content curator.

I started with G1NBC in 2007 and am just now feeling like I know what I'm doing - I just hope it isn't too late.

You see, I started a consulting practice with my very good friend Jeremy Grandstaff called S&G Endeavors in 2002. Our goal was to help bring about world change by creating a dialogue and increasing awareness to the potential for large scale change initiatives to alter our discourse and begin rebuilding our world differently. We changed that vision around alot since then, lol. You can check out more about our consulting approach by checking our our collaborative planning page where we discuss our methods to help leaders, organizations, and communities use collaboration to create change and take action.

I had a thought that we could use our consulting process to help be a catalyst for the way media was delivered to folks. Reinventing media, having different conversations, bringing people together for healthy discussions on issues that really matter. That was always the grand plan. But shit, that takes a lot of work too. So I tried to just focus on creating media projects and working on projects that I thought would bring my work at G1NBC to the world.

Rambling.....

Here is my working powerpoint on what my vision is for the SGE Media side of S&G Endeavors. Check it out and feel free to comment in the document. <iframe src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vSTwxoOqN_zIEGpGO8PBlNKOWNqzjDd6E3hVZxmwI0TDpUQUbxdy5AwqKPs4J3j2yXO04CnOgc92LZ0/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" width="560" height="269" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe>

Steem Community: Any feedback is welcomed, especially from strangers.

So, what the hell are we doing here?

Honestly, I don't know. I like the potential power of blockchain technology. I like the thought of having a token that has a good use case and a supportive community. As a leader within G1NBC, I want to work with our station (website) directors to use steem to run their newsrooms, or better partner with local content providers to increase their reach and readership. I'd like to create a show or a weekly discussion or a monthly conversation where we gather and discuss what media local media companies look like in the 21st century. But that's just what I want to do....I'm never really sure if that's what other people want to do.....

So anyway, thanks for letting me ramble on for a little while....that's a little about me. There is a lot more but I'll save that for another post, maybe.

For now, check out the latest updates from some of my partner projects and content providers for my G1NBC Cuyahoga County Website:
The Connected Web Series: Cleveland Ohio's first crime based drama featuring and African American faction. Episode 3 Release

Healing Hands Entertainment: A Kentucky based production company with a focus on providing quality content and advocacy projects for person's with bi-polar disorder and other mental health issues. A Conversation w/ Amy McCorkle

Tot Films Production: A local Cleveland filmmaker and his merry band of misfits. Three Short Films Screening (Cleveland first, the world second, lol)

Talk to you soon!
