ConcertVR has vision that more fans, then actual limitation of the venue is providing, should be able to join and watch the concert event. There is a lot of examples in the world, related to popular artists, that have all tickets sold within hour, or day, even if there is over million tickets available, for different venues and dates of the tour. Hence, large black market is involved in the industry, since there is high demand compared to number of available tickets.
Above mentioned create the necessity for solution that can allow people that are not living close to metropolitan areas, where concert are mostly organized, and cannot afford black market ticket price to have experience of live concert entertainment. Since fully functional prototype is already developed, following step for ConcertVR www.concertvr.io is to establish contracts with concert organizing companies and artists, to ensure continuous stream that cover different types of music events.
This idea will be deployed through blockchain, so that all user data are securely held there, and will not be held on ConcertVR servers, or sold to different third-party companies. Initial currency – CVT token will be fixed to Ethereum and will be used for purchasing of concerts and events in the application. Nevertheless, it will not be possible to buy CVT token with fiat currency and for concert purchase will be established two methods – subscription based and single purchase for concert or song.
