Let me introduce myself

Hello everyone on Steem. Having joined Steem, it only seems appropriate to let you know something about me.
Basic info: My name in Ray Zwankhuizen (no need to try and pronounce that ;-) and I have lived in the Netherlands all my life. Having worked in IT for over 30 year, I lost my job some years ago.

Although at first it seemed fun, after working more than 60 hours per week constantly, it also makes you feel restless and anxious.

Because of my wife's health we decided to move to Spain 2,5 years ago, and this is the best decision we ever made.
We are loving it here. Wonderful people, lovely weather and great food.

After about a year I started to maintain a website to collect the events In Spain, since there was not yet anything that was comprehensive enough.

Built mostly for my own use I now have decided to extend this site to become the number site for events in Spain and maybe later other regions.
Also I'm thinking about incorporating cyber currency as the way to pay contributors and in the future use for transactions as well like buying tickets for events.

So, you may understand that after all this time I'm working harder than ever, go figure ;-)
