Cyber-attacks are time and again called non-violent or non-kinetic attacks, but the fact is that there is a credible capability to use cyber-attacks to achieve physical damage on lives of people and property.
Kinetic cyber-attacks are factual and growing hazard that is generally being ignored as alarmist. These types of attacks have been authenticated experimentally and as of today they are being used in form of sabotage and espionage.
Kinetic cyber refers to a given level of cyber-attacks that can cause direct or indirect physical destruction or death solely though the manipulation of vulnerable information systems and processes.
