Hello Steemians,
Not a good start of the week as we lost one of the coolest classic shot-gun personality man "Richard Harrison" who was one of the important parts of the show "Pawn Stars". Pawn Stars is a popular show in India on channel History. The show has been airing since from 2012 on History channel in Hindi. And this show is one of the coolest show and the sweetest part of my childhood memories. Key persons on this show are Rick, Chum, Big Hoss, and Richard Harrison aka Dadu. (Dadu is the Hindi word for "Grandpa"). Pawn stars are all about buying and selling historical masterpieces. Few experts also appear occasionally to check or verify/authenticate the masterpieces.
Tribute to Dadu
- This was the shocking news as Dadu retired from the show due to medical issues where he was almost stuck with heart stroke.
- He was absent from the show right from the 2 straight seasons, and we finally got to see him on the "FB wall with a sad RIP message".
- Rick (Son of Richard Harrison) went on the twitter to confirm the news as there was fake news related to Richard Harrison back in 2016, about his medical condition.
- Dadu was a real-life hero, started Pawn shop in Las Vegas back in 1989 along with his young son Rick. During 2008, a producer went to their shop and saw these cool guys on work, he decided to create the show-series which became a big show.
- Pawn shop people have a great fan base here in India.
- Dadu will be missed a lot in coming days as History is going to wrap up and produce an episode especially for Dadu and his journey while on-camera.
- Dadu was a navy man and was loved for his sweet and spicy talks on the camera, along with this he was a knowledge treasure.
- Parkinson's disease was the reason behind his sudden death. He died on 25, June 2018.
