The shortest day of the year

in daily โ€ขย  4 years agoย

Today, 21 ๐Ÿ“… of December is the shortest โŒ› day of the year. The night ๐ŸŒƒ exceeds the day ๐ŸŒ…, beacuse it's Winter Solstice โ„. So on the current day the North Pole ๐ŸŒ is most tilted back from the Sun. As earthlings, from our perspective the sun has reached the lowest point on the horizon. You can find some more detiled information about the shortest day, depending on your current location ๐ŸŒ, on the second link under the images. On the other hand, the good news ๐Ÿ“ข is that the sun will start to "move up" ๐Ÿ“ˆ again on the next day, gaining more daylight-time ๐ŸŒž.
