Oh, you are going to have so much fun. This one is my own random backyard flock breed. I incubatd 40 eggs a few years back I got from a person who has many different breads. If she can't sell a chicken by the time it has gone broody for the first time, she puts it into a large yard full of all kinds of roosters and breeds of chicken. Those eggs, she sells for $ 1 a piece - compared to pure heritage breed eggs which are anywhere from 5 to 15 each.
the future generations came out of that - whoever got broody and whoever had the pleasure of donating the sperm.
Now, I only have one rooster - so we know the dad :)
