Some up close of the feathers on our most mature gold sex link chick. I wonder if she was born a few days before the others. She's much more brown and feathered while the others are still more yellow and fluffy.

Possibly or she's not a she. Lol
They all mature a little different. Each unique.

Sex links are bred to be different colors between males and females. Makes sexing easier and more accurate. That picture was yesterday, and today we have another one popping out similar feathers.

She better be a she. We eat transsexual chickens lol

😂

haha! ya'll have some weird looking birds over there! and what's with that name? make ya wonder who is naming these things!

Lol I think they're being prepubescent. Goofy birds 😂

haha! yeah they're goofy but highly entertaining and will grow up to be very productive I'm sure!

Bald spots. Fluffy spots. Feather spots. It's quite the sight.

The dominickers seem to transitioning more gracefully. They are getting their big girl feathers without the balding.

yes sir it's quite the process isn't it and never a dull moment with those things running around!
