Daily Dose of Sultnpapper 08/29/18> back on the road and not…Life in the Fast Lane.

It isn't direct sales to the end user or to the contractor. I work to drive contractor demand at the local distributors who sell our products and I also book the orders from those distributors. So yes, it is sales and I am paid on commission + salary.
But no matter what type of work a person is doing there is selling involved, even a factory worker on an assembly line had to sell himself to who ever was doing the hiring. There are plenty of different types of sales positions when you think about it, but we all have sales skills in some form or another, you couldn't survive in life without them.

howdy sir sultnpapper this fine Friday! I hope you have a long weekend and you are right about the salesmanship that we all have in some form another, couldn't agree with you more!

I do have a long weekend for sure. When I saw you use "howdy" I had to go and look, why haven't you said you are a Texan? Texans get moved to the front of my bus. I have your "still warm in redneck country " booked marked so I will be getting that read and up voted here shortly.
We are all selling something for sure, good looking young women make a killing in sales in the construction trade I can tell you that, they don't need to know a damn thing about the products either, just a nice tight fitting pair of Wranglers and some Justin Ropers and the world is theirs.

hahaha! THAT I believe. so the company is out there recruiting attractive, well built women for their sales department?

I'm sorry I didn't say that I was a Texan, I never know whether the conversation is going to be a one-time thing or a couple of times and then people disappear! lol.

But yes sir I'm all about supporting other Texans. I met one a few weeks ago, nateonsteemit, he's a welder working for a company making semi's can't think of the name right now but he's a solid, loyal Texan too, he's getting chickens and starting to do some homesteading.

I'm heading over to your blog right now.

Not the company I work for, but a couple of companies that sell other products into the industry that I sell to sure recruit some "lookers"
