Daffodils blooming
Bradford pear buds opening
signs of Spring abound
Cori MacNaughton
Our odd long warm spell has had its expected effect, in more ways than one.
Our Bradford pear is bursting into bloom, our fruit trees aren't far behind, and while tonight is only expected to dip into the high 30s F, tomorrow and Saturday night are expected to freeze, at right around 30 degrees F. Damn.
Hopefully the freeze will be light enough not to do any real damage. Fruit tree blossoms can survive freezes, as long as the temperatures do not dip below 26 degrees F. I'm praying that the coldest temperatures will stay well to our north.
Both of these photos were taken this afternoon with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
