SELF DISCIPLINE & RESPONSIBILITY

"The individual who would want to reach the top in business must appreciate the might and force of habit. He must be quick to break those habits that can break him -and hasten to adopt those practices that will become the habits that help him achieve the success he desires. "
-----J. Paul Gett

Most times people forget that your ability and zeal to discipline yourself to accept personal responsibility for your life is very important to happiness, success and personal leadership. Accepting responsibility is one the hardest of disciplines, but sadly without it no success is possible.
The failure to accept responsibility and the attempt to ginger responsibility for things in your life that makes you unhappy onto other people, institutions, and situations completely disarrange cause and effect ,undermine your character, weaken your resolve, diminish your progress. All these things leads to endless excuses.

FROM CHILDHOOD TO MATURITY

When you are growing up ,from an early age you become conditioned to see yourself as not responsible for your life. This is normal and perfectly natural. When you are a child your parents are in control of your life, they help make all decisions, mostly with food you will eat, what clothes you will wear and the schools you attend, because you are young and totally naive you have little or no choice as to the control of the activities you will participate in.
However then as you grow up you begin to make more and more decisions in each of the above listed areas, but because of your early child upbringing, you ate conditioned unconsciously to feel that someone else is responsible for your life, that there is still someone out there who can or should take care of you.
Most people people grow up believing that if something goes wrong, someone else is responsible. Someone else is to blame or is guilty for their downfall. They take the easy way out that someone else is the villain and they are the victims.

So therefore take the pain in working on self improvement, are the end the success rate is 101% over 100.
