And thus begins my FIFTH daily photo project!

I have 10 years of party pics. That's nearly 200 events.

Every day - or as close to every day as I can get since this one's a bit more time consuming - I'm going to post a handful of my favorite images from every party I photographed between 2002 and 2012. I might even include commentary on some of them.

Some of the events were small house parties, while others were massive productions that I was particularly privileged to photograph. Camera gear was a variety of the Canon EOS Digital Rebel series beginning in late 2003. Prior to that I shot a few events on film.

So let's start at the beginning shall we?

SoMOHoCo - September 21, 2002

SoMOHoCo is short for "Southern Missouri House Coalition".
This was less of an "event" or "party", per se, and more of just a house party with all musicians and DJs and really expensive DJ and audio gear stuffed into a living room for a jam session.

This was the night I met a lot of the people in these photos. Some of whom I still have contact with today, and a couple of whom might be lingering around here on Steemit.

All photos from this event were shot on 35mm film using a Canon EOS Elan II with a Promaster 28-105mm lens. It's the only event in the collection that was shot on film.
