Pachino Says Hi

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce my cat to the @dPet community. My friend @shasta told me about this community and I see another friend @manorvillemike who posts his big cat family here.

Pachino was a one year old stray that I adopted 13 years ago. He had been abused and his poor face was a mess. He had a big scar down the side of his face and one eye was swollen shut. So you will see his one eye closed or partially closed in many photos. He is a lovable lap cat, is very smart and I love him dearly. You will get to know more about Pachino in my posts.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

      My favorite cat was an abandoned tabby who wandered to our door and asked to be let in. She lived with us for about 15 or 16 years. I wrote a tribute here.

        What a beautiful tribute to your precious Hobo! It brought a tear to my eye and I know how much you miss her. The decision we have to make is heartbreaking but we do it out of love, to end the suffering. Thanks so much for sharing and for stopping by @jacobtothe! : )

        I love cats. We have three just now. Two of them were strays we adopted. They turned out to be really nice cats, except the two of them don't get along very well, even after being neutered.

          Yay! Another cat lover. : ) I know all too well about cats not getting along. My neighbor and I co-adopted a male stray and he lived with me and Pachino for 9 months but he constantly started fights with Pachino, trying to be alpha cat. Then Pachino stopped eating and the vet said it was stress due to the other cat. So now, that other cat is living with my neighbor. His name is Ollie and I will be posting photos of Ollie as well.
