LARRY, OUTSIDE

One of my oldest house cats Larry had been spraying when Scary Mary was down the basement last Winter. He stopped when S. Mary came up in the house. But lately he is doing it again. Fortunately in areas I can clean easily.

He is "pissed" with bully Scary Mary and instead of confronting her like Gerry he marks his territory. I'm proud Larry has excepted all the other 9 cats into his house but unsocial Mary is the exception.

The other day I decided to let him outside in the frigid weather for a change of pace. Seems to be working. I only let him out for a few minutes and bring him in before he wanders away.

He has had his little jaunt for the last three days and now seems to be looking forward to it. After coming in he appears satisfied and doesn't cry to go back out.

That looks like that is exactly what he needed to settle down a bit. He sure has beautiful markings Mike. Do you want some of our snow to go with that cold? lol

I would tell you to mail it to me but the rates just went up...

Looks like that cat is on the hunt.

New world for him outside. :-)

He seems curious discovering everything around him. Why was he spraying when she was in the basement? Was he sleeping there as well!

Cats can smell nine times better than humans. He is just upset she is invading his territory.

Yes of course! And she isnt an easy going invader :P She is there to rule!

So frustrating when they piss everywhere :(

Yes understanding their needs is important.

How lovely of him discovering the great outside @manorvillemike

He's still a pain :-)
