It would be more interesting to learn from children, than try to teach them how to behave, how to live and how to function.

--- U.G. Krishnamurti

Having posted on this subject yesterday, I was pleased to find these simple and relevant words a moment ago from my new #dailyquotes author UGK.

being a passionate homoeopath this comes to my mind http://en.presentchild.com
Our children can be the best simillimum (homoeopathic remedy) for us parents. They often are a most impressive mirror of their parents and even deeper the family system. We only have to learn the language of their messages, which can be composed of fascinating and at times annoying behavior, unexpected expressions, peculiar patterns and physical symptoms. Their innocent love to us makes them take over our unsolved problems and patterns of dealing with life.
BTW - I was happy to sit amongst hundreds of followers with J Krishnamurti at one of his evening talks in Madras late 1980. I had been staying as well with the Theosophical Society Annual Meeting and had just learned of his whole story. He somehow was the child of that society and they were unable to understand his message. I was deeply impressed by all what was happening in Madras (now Chennai), Pondicherry (now Puducherry) and Auroville. I even got to know about homoeopathy in these days.

What an amazing history you have! Thank you for sharing a little of it with me here :)

And yes, they are most certainly like mirrors those children of ours. I have had to stop swearing so mindlessly all the time! But I love the way he copies other habits of mine :)

Yes, good quote.
Just guide the children to keep them safe and model good values.

That's it. And let them guide us too :)

Amen.

It is done. It is done. It is done.
