I feel like this relates directly with the Buddhist principle of non-attachment. It is very freeing to think about.

It is also directly related with our manifestation power. Visualizing, feeling, enjoying, actualizing. . . and then releasing all attachment to whatever outcome may be.

These are ways to enjoy the magic and power of each moment, as it comes, and to know that each moment is as fleeting as the next.

How deep can we go in to what is being provided for us in this moment, knowing that in an instance it may be gone or completely different.

The tough part for me continuously letting go.

I love reading the Daily Stoic each day because I love to ponder things, and to get in touch with my Self nature and essence.

While I don’t agree with everything I find in this ancient lineage, it is often a good starting point for some really amazing thoughts and thinking about how to be the best; for ourselves, for each other and for the world.

If you enjoy pondering about Self and Mastery and the inner workings of Manifestation and How The World Works and such, then you will likely enjoy pondering these teachings throughout your day.

The authors Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman also provide some nice insight for each days quote. Both are modern day Stoics and have a lot to offer.

Each month follows a theme -
The month of January was about Clarity.
This month, February, is about Passions and Emotions.

Thanks for sharing Treaphort. I have, at times, noticed myself admiring your collected persona. Knowing now your studies around Stoicism brings some light to that picture. You mentioned there are some things you don't see eye to eye with around the Stoic philosophy. Can you give me an example?

For sure! A fairly new endeavor of mine, but I do appreciate the philosophy. .

Hmm. . an example may be how they postulate about "indifference" or "wish-not-want-not" type of attitude. While I do recognize the benefit of taking the middle road I am also very much about the enjoyment and passions life has to offer.

Desire, enjoyment, passion, wants, excitement and such are all amazing feelings and can help us to have more fun in this life. . I personally am not trying to desire less or not get as excited as I would like to be, especially in an effort to not allow my Self to be let down in any way.

I am more aligned with a philosophy of "experience everything to the fullest, and let it all go constantly; living true to Heart to build and manifest the world around". . .

That being said, I have loved reading and exploring Stoicism and am enjoying the types of thoughts and ideas it is bringing forth in me. And it has been helping me to explore more of where and how I have been putting my energies.

Love you @logan-gray-ic!!! happy to see you on here :-)
