Coconut Oil - Dairy free Popcorn - Better than Butter!

Hi Everyone!

This is my first post. I'd like to share my way of making my favourite popcorn. It is very easy and so delicious. For a long time I was unable to eat regular popcorn because of my sensitivity to dairy. Other products like vegan margarine etc... just didn't taste like butter and made me try and forget about popcorn. But, what's a good movie without a popcorn snack!![]

I like it better than butter - so much yummier.

Here's what you need: A stove or burner, a pot with a lid, 2 heaping table spoon of coconut oil, 1/2 cup of popcorn, and seasalt to your liking.

Here's how:

Put the pot on the stove and set to high heat, add the coconut oil, add the popcorn and cover the pot. Wait until you hear it popping and get a pot holder or oven mitt so you don't burn yourself during the process. Gently shake the pot while it's popping so the kernels can get back to the bottom of the pot. When the popping slows down, turn off the stove and remove the pot from the heat and carefully remove the lid with a mitt or pot holder. Transfer to your favourite bowl and season it with sea salt! Enjoy. I hope you like it as much as I do. Everyone that I have given samples to, seem to really love it!
