The Hidden Truth 99% Of People Don't Know About Life Until They Are 70

I was born in the year 1986. My parents were most likely very happy about having another boy. Since we are Africans, having a boy is kind of a big deal. But that joy would not last. Just a few months after my birth, the reality would follow and that reality is that I was born as a sickle cell kid. The only thing I know in all my childhood is the pains of sickness. I suffered rheumatism for the first 17 years of my life but that was about to turn my life around. After age 17, I started to become healthier and this was to lead me into something entirely different. My life moved from the point where I was praying for death, to the point where I was confronting death. My life's experience later taught me something very significant about success. As significant as this is, most people I know don't understand this and that's why I'm making this video. I hope this video will help you to join the top one percent of people who know the secret I'm about to share with you. If you're new here, consider subscribing so that you won't miss other interesting videos like this. Let me start this video by quoting Denis Waitley, who said, "Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing." From my personal experience, what most people are trying to do with their lives is to try and avoid every possible pain. What most people are trying to do in their short life is to live a normal life, follow the tested path and do the normal things they see everyone do. After all, if everyone does it, it's likely to be safe. This is a big mistake because nothing is safe in the universe. Make the list of 10 things you've done in the last 48 hours and I'll tell you that certain people have done any of those 10 things and lost their lives. Did you drive from your home to the office? Well, 3,287 people die in an auto crash every day. Did you eat your breakfast and lunch yesterday? Well, millions of people have died of food poison. Even taking your bath is risky because thousands of people die every year from the bathroom accident. My message here is the same with what Helen Keller said, "Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." One of the most hidden truths about life is, you're in hell already. You're not safe and you can never be safe. Trying to keep your head safe is like trying to remain dry under the water. How I discovered the truth When I was suffering from terrible rheumatism as a child, I often wish that God kills me. This wish became more real when at 12 a medical personnel came to our house to inform my parents that I could die before age 18. I was happy and relieved. I truly wanted to die. But death disappoints me. So when I passed my 18th birthday and remain alive, I then start behaving like an ardent criminal, positively, I mean. Like an ardent criminal who becomes even more dangerous after a prison term, I now become almost fearless. As a young adult, whatever my heart dreamed of, I went for it. Whenever people try to scare me, I laugh because I know that the worse thing that can happen to me is death and I've expected it for 18 years without it coming. With my boldness, I was able to achieve what most people can't even dream of and then, I discovered the truth I'm teaching in this video. You see, life is naturally risky and you can't escape it. Trying to avoid risks in life is like trying to make your clothes dry inside the water. Close your eyes and imagine a soldier who is at the war front. What should this soldier do? Beg his enemy, run away or fight? Well, this soldier can beg his enemy and surrender to him but what happens next is that he's going to become the war prisoner. Do you know what it means to be a prisoner of war? Well, torture, hunger and hard labor. What if this soldier tries to run away? Well, the enemy will pursue with great enthusiasm, catch him and take him alive or kill him. You're that soldier and life is your battlefield. Yes, you can appeal to the universe to take it easy with you and she will do that by making you a slave to others who are ready to use you. You can also try and run away from the battlefield and get a similar result. And you can decide to fight with all of your might. "Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing." The fear of death Some people will start thinking, "What if I die in the battle?" Well, you'll die anyway. Running away from life's struggles or trying to live a peaceful life will eventually lead you to where you don't want to go. I don't like to tell this story but it may help you. I know a man who stood against me when I was trying to build a business. He has a job and he was climbing the ladder of the corporate world. Since this is simple and easier than building a company, he wanted me to do the same. I decided to build my own company or keep on trying forever. So it happened that this guy lost his job after working so hard for a decade to climb the corporate ladder and he never gets any good job again. I, on the other hand, overcame every obstacle and succeed in business. The question here is, what if I didn't succeed? Well, the worst that would have happened to me is what happened to my friend. I mean, if I had failed in business, I would have simply been as he is, failed and depressed. So, it's very simple; take risks or take worse risks. Follow your dream or be a servant to someone else's dream. Life is not risky. It's just risky. You got that right. Life isn't risky. It's just what it is; risky. There's no escape route in life. But most people don't know this truth. They are looking for ways not to get hurt. They are looking for ways to live a very easy and comfortable life all their life. They are looking for peace but it's at the end of the woes of life. The peace you're looking for only exists at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel is dark and tough. If you cannot go through the dark tunnels, you can't get to see the bright light. "Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing."  We love you! .
