I saw this band live at Oxford (probably in 1983), supporting Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. From what I recall, they made OMD sound like kids on a Casiotone. Now, had OMD stuck to their symphonic Architecture & Morality style, or even the sombre Organisation, the whole concert could have had some coherence, but the tinkling around of their experimental Dazzle Ships was less than dazzling. I stopped listening to them after that.
In contrast, the support band offered thundering drums, a rumbling base and a rasping guitar; this earthquake of noise was topped by the sirenic voice of Elizabeth Fraser. No set, no props, just a drum machine and three people who looked like they were playing in their living room.
But the noise... It sounded like another world. This was the Cocteau Twins.
Enjoy.
Not really a video, but the best audio quality I could find on YT.
Video not needed.
Musette & Drums was the closing track from their second album, Head over Heels, released in late 1983... which means this was probably not played live in May of the same year. Never mind, plenty more Cocteau Twins tracks to unveil.
