The Dark Web

I liked your initiative to raise awareness about those "let's say services".
But "This is where the dark web comes into play. It allows users to browse the Internet anonymously and securely. Websites set up there are also anonymous unless the owner decides to reveal their identity." Tor is the thing that allows the users to browse anonymously and securely (not fully secure atm unless you have the proper knowledge)

and "Dark web is purposely hidden from the search engine" I'm not certain about this but i would say that no, it's not hidden, but it cannot be found rather to (as you said) protect the site and make it harder for govs/shits to take it down or simply because of the anon status it offers.

Isn't

the reason why they hide it?

From Google:

purposely: ˈpəːpəsli/ adverb adverb: purposely on purpose; intentionally.

You didn't answered to the first quote, that was the only question.
Let's see, they don't hide it from google, google simply doesn't index it, prolly because it has no idea it exists because .onion is limited to TOR. Let's just induce newbies into this world with everything, positive and negative, tor is not fully safe.

You're right! I put a disclaimer for that reason. TOR is centralized so yes, it's not fully secure.

Yep the feds and prolly other organizations controling many exit nodes hence the information, cunts.
