Listening to the main developer, makes me feel less secure about DASH...

Ha, it's weird but I have to say I feel the same way. He just... Seems a little off. I don't know. You should look into Nexus Earth crypto, http://nexusearth.com. The ones looking most forward with where crypto is going and trying to fix the problems before they exist. Like quantum computers cracking encryption, distributing a satellite network to broadcast the blockchain etc. And AFAIK Evan and the lead dev of Nexus had a talk at the Satoshi Roundtable. If you're interested :)

Im sorry to say it, but me recently becoming a fan of DASH, is getting reversed into "Steem is King"... I am not so sure anymore of DASH... ya, its a good idea, but its not ready yet and its mostly ideas and speculations. Also the technology behind DASH seems outdated.

I sort of went through that already and now with the current price spike I got more into everything Dash again. It's a bumpy ride, as with every other crypto :D Because I am certain Evolution will bring forth a lot of new people. I am also wary of their "promises", but it's hard to look over the short term (Most likely long term too) profits. We live in interesting times :)

So true.

Interesting Times Indeed

That was long and detailed video. Thanks for sharing @inity

I took a year of computer science at a technical university. That guy is spot-on as a lead dev. Usually, they put out front guys like Andrea or Amanda to explain stuff. He probably needs to clean up a bit for the interview, and it looks like he might have a cold too. But anyway, good appearance isn't a sign of good deving. These people sit in dark rooms for 20 hours coding. I know, I had to do it for finals. (Edit: I hope he is not high, he looks like he could be on something too.)

Well, I know tht coders live in dark rooms and usually are wierd people, if they are really good at coding... this guy does not look like that, he look more like one that have not lived in a dark room for 10 years... thats my concern... imagine how satochi looks :o)

Also I lost all respect for universities and public schools, so that does not apply as a metric of valuating his work.

The snorting is probably a nervous tick, he does it in an interview from a year ago. I'm cutting him some slack because he says at the end, he's a perl programmer. Perl is my favorite language.

I just think when it comes to making a cryptocurrency, it takes a genius, and he doesn't strike me as one.. (I could be wrong)

For me dash is the next big thing... It is the only actual crypto that is "nearly" ready for mass adoption and has proven to be a serious thing to happen

Indeed, this is hard to argue with.

I do agree on the point that it's the most "robust" coin at the moment for mainstream adoption. Instant transactions, debit cards(Already out I think), they've been testing vending machines with Dash and so on. And their governance structure makes it easy/fast to move forward. In my eyes the only barrier for mainstream adoption anymore is user friendliness, and that's what Dash is going for.
