What's more valuable to you? Your money or your data?

Sorry, trick question. Data is money. Regardless of what you think, data is the currency of technology, which is what is driving our future. Big tech has amounted a throne of data, which has been collected from all of us: from all our social media posts, web searches, basically any time anyone goes online their data is being tracked. Conspiracy theorist will say we are all being tracked by microchips, but the reality is that we are already being tracked by facial recognition software, cameras, but most importantly our phones. Getting back to data--with the continual advent of technology, there will be a subset of people who try to subvert said tech and steal the data for their financial gain. I've included a data set of the biggest data breaches in technology history, and all this points to data superseding fiat money in value. A sea-change is coming to all our respective cultures, and data will be used for more overt control over populations. Please consider your role in this ecosystem.
