I always did like the sound of that. Maybe it's the foodie in me. I do love pudding. Recently, Ben Zimmer reminded us that the proof is in the pudding is a new twist on a very old proverb. The original version being the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And what it means is that you have to try out food in order to know whether it's good or not. It literally means that you only know how good food is, or on this case the pudding is, when you taste it.

Now why am I going on and on about pudding? You know that this is certainly not about confectioneries, but the less literal meaning of the saying. It's about having something that has actual value. Having more than just words and promises but actual tangible products that can withstand some degree of testing and probing.

It's about having a already working products as opposed to the numerous promises and unachievable roadmaps we see aplenty in the ico space today. A certain project I invested in since late last year is still yet to have a working product even now, and the the token already listed on an exchange has gone multiple times lower than the ICO value because of the lack of the working product.
