Oracle of the Lord: I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace

Although the book of Zechariah is considered a book of difficult interpretation, Zechariah's prophecies about Lord Jesus are of great importance in the New Testament, the prophet Zechariah anticipates with great precision many moments of the Lord's life, his arrival in Jerusalem as a peaceful and liberating Messiah (Zechariah 9:9-10), also the prophecy about the scattered flock (Zechariah 13:7).
But especially there is a prophecy or an oracle of the prophet Zechariah referring to the crucifixion of Jesus, we see the fulfillment of this prophecy in the Gospel of John (John 19:37), "Jesus is the pierced", this prophecy is also mentioned in the book of Revelation: "´Look, he is coming with the clouds,´ and ´every eye will see him, even those who pierced him´; and all peoples on earth ´will mourn because of him´" Revelation 1:7.
Zechariah tells us about a descendant of the house of David and Jesus descends from David through his father Joseph, Zechariah also describes a spirit of grace and supplication and our Lord Jesus is a person filled with the spirit, in the prophecy a pierced one is also mentioned, Jesus dies on the cross pierced by a spear.
This is how the Oracle of Zechariah anticipates the crucifixion of the Lord:
"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, and all the rest of the clans and their wives" Zechariah 12:9-14.
Zechariah is one of the prophets who anticipate the arrival of the personification of the Kingdom of Heaven, the "son of man", in humanity.
