I take Immodium for my Irritable Bowel Syndrome because it's cheaper and more effective than any prescription medication I've tried. Apparently, a few years ago, some addicts discovered that if you take a few hundred pills you can get high, or something.
I'm pretty sure that's an urban myth, but the DEA cracked down on my meds anyway and now limits packages to a 12-doze size. It was behind the pharmacy desk for a while, but it's back on the shelves at Target, so I can pick it up anytime.
However, the package sets off the theft alarm when I leave the store, and due to my regular and infrequent Target visits, it means I set off the alarm nearly every time I shop there.
Fortunately, no one cares about theft here, so everyone ignores the alarm.
