Las Vegas: 58 dead
On October 1, 2017, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, on a crowd below, attending a country music concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, killing 58 people nearly 500 wounded.

Sandy Hook Elementary School, 26 dead
On December 14, 2012, a young man killed 26 people, including 20 primary school children, at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut, northeast, before committing suicide.
Sutherland Church, Texas: 26 dead
On Sunday, November 5, 2017, a man shot dead 26 people in a church in the small town of Sutherland Springs, Texas, in full worship. He also wounded twenty parishioners. The police found his body in his car.
Killeen, Texas: 22 dead
On October 16, 1991, a man kills 22 people in a restaurant in Killeen, Texas, and injures twenty others before killing himself.
Parkland, Florida: 17 dead
On February 14, 2018, on Valentine's Day, a 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz opened fire in a high school in Parkland, South East Florida, killing 17 people before being arrested.
San Bernardino: 14 dead
On December 2, 2015, a married couple of radicalized Islamists of Pakistani origin opened fire at a Christmas luncheon in San Bernardino, California, killing 14 people and injuring 22 others.
Fort Hood: 13 dead
On November 5, 2009, a Palestinian-born military psychiatrist fired the most serious shooting at a US military base, killing 13 people and wounding 32 in Fort Hood, Texas, before being wounded and restrained.
Immigrant Reception Center in Binghamton: 13 dead
On April 3, 2009, a man of Vietnamese origin kills 13 people in a reception center for immigrants in Binghamton (New York State, northeast).
Columbine: 13 dead
On April 20, 1999, in Littleton, Colorado, two high school students opened fire at Columbine High School and killed 12 students and a teacher and injured 24 others. The two shooters commit suicide at the scene of the massacre.
Naval Offices in Washington: 12 dead
On September 16, 2013, a man working for a Ministry of Defense subcontractor opened fire in US Navy offices in Washington DC, killing 12 people, before being shot dead by police.
Aurora: 12 dead
On July 20, 2012, a heavily armed young man burst into a multiplex in Aurora, Colorado, and opened fire on the audience for a midnight session of "Batman", killing 12 people and injuring 70 others. The perpetrator of the killing, James Holmes, was sentenced in August 2015 to life imprisonment without the possibility of release.
Santa Fe High School: 10 dead
One student killed 10 people and wounded 10 with a shotgun and revolver at his high school in Santa Fe, Texas on May 18, 2018. According to early information from the local sheriff, the majority of the victims are students.
