Day Three: On a Roll at Rehearsals

For those who do not know American Sign Language (ASL), here's the English version of the vlog:

Another day at the rehearsal today. For the past few days, I’ve been feeling more and more confident each day. I’ve been learning a lot here since the two or three days with the cast. I thought we rehearsed three days ago. Today is only the third day. Lost track of the days already… Anyway, I’m starting to feel clicked in well with the cast. I feel that our chemistry is getting better and learning how to work with everyone on the cast. It feels great and I feel like I’m on a roll! Like I have said again, I’m feeling great and more confident with all this. With the interpreters, communication with the cast was very effective. We had productive discussions to discuss ideas and visual cues. I will be saying this again and again that visual cues are really beneficial for me because it will prompt me on when I’ll have to say my lines. With the interpreters on board, I’m able to participate with discussions and input my ideas.

I don’t have much I can say tonight. It’s been three days already starting to feel mental exhaustion. It’s been really exciting for me. It’s fun. This is all new for me and everything is all exciting for me and I look forward to getting up each day for this. The people are wonderful. I feel that we have been able to have this type of high-level thinking, reading and discussions about our characters’ background and story. Everything has positive vibes. Our energy. Our discussions. Our comments. We have a supportive group and we are able to work well together. Each of us has something to contribute and offer for the group. We have a great arts director, stage manager, great actors and actresses and overall a great team that works well together! Looking forward to more this in the next few day and up coming weeks! I’m excited. I’m motivated and I have goals to make this show a great success for the community!

See you all tomorrow!
