Near death experience

Hi friends, last night I finished a book called Near Death Experience or NDE, it's a book filled with stories of people who almost died and just returned on time. I admit that I remained disturbed after reading this book, I tend to believe all these testimonies and I say to myself that we are still far from knowing all the mysteries surrounding the man ...
During their experience, they each testify to their experience and often, astonishing details of similarity return in each testimony like the famous white light or the observation of the scene being like coming out of his body floating on the ceiling.

Kenneth Ring, a professor of psychology at the University of Connecticut in the United States and founder of the International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS), defined the 5 stages of an NDE:

  1. The pain suddenly disappears, the subject finds a peace never known before (100% of cases).

  2. He has the sensation of coming out of his body, of seeing himself - generally from above - of being able to read other people's thoughts or to cross the walls (60% of cases).

  3. It is sucked into a vacuum, a tunnel, with the impression of moving at high speed while remaining motionless, to have no more body while retaining its senses (23% of cases).

  4. He sees parents appear, his whole life scrolls in time before him, he moves towards a light that becomes more and more brilliant without dazzling him (16% of cases).

  5. Entering this light leads to the indescribable: beauty, love, knowledge, meeting of spiritual entities, return to an original matrix, non-sexual orgasm, fusion (10% of cases)

This experience of imminent death is already told in very old stories, for example, Perceval, Knight of the Round Table, is hanged by brigands and narrowly escaped. At the second he thinks he is dying, time stops and he enters an extraordinary dimension, where a light made of absolute love and knowledge shines.

Among millions of people whose hearts have stopped or who have been in a coma and our resuscitation techniques have managed to bring back, some speak of a journey that changed their lives.
In the Netherlands, a survey conducted with the greatest scientific rigor in the cardiology departments of ten large hospitals, has shown that 18% of patients resuscitated in extremis have experienced a near death experience.

The modern NDE study began in the 1970s in the United States. Researchers realize that millions of people have lived through this borderline experience, that it has visibly upset their existence, but that it is nowhere to be found in either medicine or the humanities. The concern is that the survivors who have come close to death explain that there is no word to describe what they have experienced. Then, they still feel the need to tell what they have experienced. Most of the time, they speak of a pleasant and positive experience, only rare witnesses, difficult to count because they want to forget, report a negative experience: they were generally prisoners of geometrical figures (an "8" lying designating the infinite , the sign yin / yang, ...) and faced indescribable sarcasm against which they fought fiercely not to be annihilated.

The NDE seems randomly distributed, it occurs as well in men, women, children or old people. What is observed in all cases is that people who have lived this experience are no longer afraid to die.

They often feel like they have returned to their bodies in order to accomplish a mission.
They manifest the intention to live fully their new life. So, it is common that we think that these people are taken psychiatric delusions.

The profound changes affecting these people are interesting.
They have the impression of having lived until then in the illusion of social roles and appearance. The episodes they saw as great pride or shame have lost their importance. For them, the paths of freedom now pass through the details of each moment, which they discover to have tragically neglected.
Or they say that the whole of their existence comes back to their memory. They say they have experienced a kind of self-judgment, where they have relived their whole lives but also the consequences of their actions and their thoughts on others.

The research has not yet been fully completed, but in any case, it is reassuring to know that people who have experienced an imminent death experience come back free from the fear of dying and filled with the desire to live fills us with d an incredible hope...

I just saw a Movie,Heaven is for Real.
It's a story of 3 year boy who has a near death experience and goes into a state of coma, during which he actually goes to heaven and meet Jesus and his dead grandfather.

I ll look at it. Thanks!

I had read many years ago a book On the state of death eminent, it was pationant. A journalist went around the world in search of people who had lived this experience. There is a reassuring side to believe that we can get out of our body and found our loved ones. Death is the finality or a stage of life?
It's an interesting but scary question, and if it was just the end .....

Maybe we ll know it when we ll die ...

Woaah Too Long ..
it Takes 13 Mintues For ME To Ready and Understand !!
Well Written

I'm all for scientific explanations of a paranormal experience but it seems every time I hear someone try and give a rational explanation for an NDE it doesn't even come close to explaining what people have described, other than explaining what might be the tunnel with a light at the end. what about all the other things which have been described by so many people? Just seems like the scientists really have nothing substantial to offer to explain these trips people take.

indeed there is no precise scientific explanation but admit that it is still quite disturbing ...

hahahah it is quite disturbing..

Thank you so match for sharing wonderful story i like it, great topic 👏👏👏

Nice story. Thanks for sharing with us.Upvote and resteem done.

I used to consider the NDE as a myth but after coming across this detailed post,i am thinking otherwise.I seriously believe that different individuals cannot give very detailed and exact descriptions on these events if the were not true.

Informative....Thanks for the information and helpful .
Thank's for sharing sir...

@sibtainali

I could call this second chance in life let me tell why "A friend of my father was sick and needed a transplant of kidney and after surgery 63 patient died he was the 64 and he said that I listen the doctor telling my mother that im going to die very soon,in that moment i fellt something very special that i could rise up in my feet like i have nothing ,her mother visit him and cried thinking that he is going to die ,but he was feeling really good after that doctor made him a visit and he did not belive that he was the same man 5 minuts ago .He survied and lived until 60 years or 35 year after that moment "

good post. I don’t think any of this can ever be proven. Essentially, it’s all based on the word of the person who had the experience. Just one of life’s little mysteries I guess. Happy New Year!

check out this article-

I kind of think once we are dead, we kind of know its pointless to hold onto our survival instinct and we kind of subconsciously accept death.

... undoubtedly around death there is a whole mystery that is just beginning to be studied ... will death be a step to a new life in another dimension ?, ... we will really stand next to God for all the eternity? ... or simply we turned into dust and already? ... exciting subject for others ..

WOW! I am going to check this book out! I think this is a very valid question we all ponder!

This is a very interesting topic and post. I have always heard stories here and there about these kind of experiences and am always interested. After all, none of us are going to get out of here alive. Lol

What do you mean by "none of us are going to get out of here alive.?"Have you ever heard this statement. Not all of us will sleep but some will be transformed.

Yes, I am a christian believer but, in my understanding, if we are dead, we will be raised from the dead and transformed thereafter.

Gosh , feel so bad , it feels bad news . The community feels sorry for the story . Althought things like this being shared on the platform make us realize there are things in the world we should care more about .
We want to be happy . Take happyness to the others .
Keep on steeming . We thank you .

Nice post keep posting

This is a very interesting post. Looking forward to see more of ur work

Another really cool thing to check out is the movie "Flatliners" either the original or the remake both are awesome. its premise is basically about people stopping their heartbeat to experience an NDE and have some form of revelation and life changing experience thats either for the better or for worst. Pretty neat film if you have the time to check it out.

I read the book and was fascinated by it. I'm a doctor and I see a lot of death but never witness someone coming back with a story :/

I would like to introduce the book which "dying to be me", this is an amazing story. The point is to love ourselves. Thanks.

I believe that NDEs are caused by DMT the sprit molecule, which is a great book you should read to follow this up. DMT is an endogenous, highly potent psychedelic which exists in all humans. It is theorized to be the compound which allows dreaming and perhaps consciousness itself. When someone is dying it is not a stretch to imagine that their brain releases all of it's DMT stores since they would no longer be needed and can relieve the agony of living through your own death. In my personal experience as well I can see all of the stories of NDEs and seeing heaven and all of that as being analogous to a DMT breakthrough. I feel like I saw everything, and the last fleeting thought I can remember having before being swept away by the enormity of the universe was that consciousness is not just a mechanical or chemical reaction. And this is coming from someone who's studied physics their whole life and at the undergraduate level. Consciousness is something that is external and shaped by biological functions and the structure of our brains and bodies. The afterlife is nothing more than the borrowed spiritual energy returning back to the collective unconscious.

Great post and thanks for sharing!
I had a NDE back in 2003. It was completely life changing. It was probably one of the most peaceful and beautiful experiences. I would say I am not afraid of death, but I am afraid of not having enough time. Time is a precious thing and there is too much magic here to discover! :)
