Finally! A Steemit death pool.

Welcome to Steemit’s First Ever Death Pool!

For those who don’t know, a death pool is “a game of prediction which involves guessing when someone will die. Sometimes it is a bet where money is involved.” (Wikipedia)

It’s admittedly a little morbid, but it’s all in good fun… and a GREAT opportunity to win a bit of STEEM as well!

Comedian Doug Stanhope (video) has a web site set up for people to easily set up and manage their very own death pools!

When a celebrity dies, they update the site and award points to players who selected that celebrity.

Points are awarded based on the celebrity’s age and any applicable bonus points earned. (Not all bonus point categories pictured… see the page for a full listing)

And at the end of the year… you get SBDs based on your performance!

How To Join

Head over to https://www.dougstanhopescelebritydeathpool.com/ and make a free account. Then send me the email address you used to sign up. You can either comment on this post or reach me on Steemit Chat. I will then add you to the Steemit Death Pool.

Don’t want to link your Steemit account to your real email? Just use a temporary email service, like Guerrilla Mail. Just remember to make your user name on the site exactly the same as your Steemit user name, so that I know where to send any prize money you win!
