Is FREE SPEECH Important to Society? If So...Help Build a Debate Arena (ok can be used for civil discussion and battle of the bands, or fundraising, or pet adoption, or???)

I am tasked with building a Debate Arena at DivvyDAO.org
I would like to ask for some help. Imagine a day where we can debate the most important topics of our day or better yet, utilize such an arena for Part B of this project, to solve the problems. Now I appreciate free press as well, and I was encouraged by the gal that got Steemit on the billboard via her efforts. Now this is how grassroots goes down!
We live in a world where people are short on attention spans and rely on mainstream media for their "news". And just look at how well the "news" is going worldwide. We live in a society where Fox News or CNN has "Presidential Debates" that aren't debates really, but theater. And look what we get in return. These are not timed debates, let alone the same questions for candidates, and certainly this phony arena doesn't give equal time to others let alone other parties, so this is not even public discourse.
DivvyDAO is aiming at creating tools for society and the necessary tool kit to advance society, your business team, your non profit organization, or your cause. Is this not a worthy cause or are we going to sit back and let Fox News and CNN play it out in all it's fairy tale (War is Peace, Ignorance is Strength, Freedom is Slavery) or will society step up to the plate and let civil discourse and real debate play out?
I have been playing around with WordPress in this brainstorming session and tried out Oxford Debate plug in. I would like to reach out to the developers of Oxford Debate and ask if they would be interested in collaborating on this debate arena, as I plan on utilizing live audio and video, finding a way to reward moderators, and winners of debate, and even the audience! I look to incorporate "objects" such as emoticons (and perhaps custom emoticons!) and voting mechanism (as simple as thumbs up and thumbs down), and creating a mechanism for exchange and rewards of cryptocurrency and hope to enable a profile system where those that fill out profile can add their top coins, be it Steem, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, AMP, or even Divvy Tokens! I hope to create a system that can analyze these "objects" and votes to create a visualization and create the real picture.
I am realizing that nothing like this has been built before. I am realizing that society deserves this and yet the costs are not very high at all, but there is enough work to trick this Debate Arena out that it could be done with class with the proper help and I am seeking collaboration and sponsorship.
Would you be willing to help this project rise through the ranks of Steem to help get this DivvyDAO Debate Arena built with the necessary bells and whistles? I am seeking some good ideas, some grassroots, sponsors, and perhaps an angel. I am also open to ideas, one sponsor for this project, or even several sponsors, if not a sponsor a month. The details on that needs to be worked out, but everything is negotiable. The main thing is the civil discourse and debate and free speech.
If you think society deserves better, if you would like to see animal adoption, battle of the drummers or high school marching bands, fund raising, a platform for remote business units, or a knock down bar room brawl of a debate, or basic discussion that can quantify and reward solutions, winners, and help the audience interact, perhaps you will do your part in upvoting this in Steem or better yet, contact me to help or sponsor this project.
I am looking to create a complete debate arena, but it can start off rough and for fun, or it can be properly funded, tricked out, and can be a professional debate arena that can be utilized by universities or overtake Fox News and CNN and all the other propaganda artists or simply used by anybody, among friends or home brew clubs (blind taste tests, don't drink and drive), or for citizens or friendly international relations.
I say build it and they will come.

My discussion with educators on how we can build Steem into new educational platforms may be helpful for you:

There will be many apps for the Steem blockchain, and Steemit is only the first one. It would be really cool to see a debate platform emerge that incorporates it, as well. Good luck on your project!
