I've been moderating DeepOnion for a while and guess what! I really enjoy my work. Anyway, it's not easy, I have to think about the Project all the time and that sometimes makes you feel tired like any other job.
That is why I ask you, if we aren't too fast in our answers, please understand us and have patience! We will appreciate that and, of course, we will help you whenever we can.
As you know, we recently integrated DeepPoints into DeepOnion and beyond that it was successful, we must say that it's also a challenge. From the announcement, we talk about the creation of new rules and changes to make them as fair as possible between old and new users. We have found many forms of abuse in our system, from users with multiple accounts to users who steal proofs for their tasks.
We are all part of the same and it's necessary that not only our Moderators stop these abusers, the whole Community should do so. These abusers literally steal and take advantage of all of us. Use that report button if you see someone trying to abuse our system, the whole Community will appreciate your action.
The most recent change is that from now on, new users will not be able to join the Tasks without a minimum of seven days in our Community. Yes, we have heard your suggestions about those accounts that were created clearly just to farm that section! From now on, users will be evaluated that week to participate and we will reward only those people who are really involved in the project.
The benefits will also be given in the quality of the contributions. Yes! We have also listened to your ideas about our reputation and from now on we will only reward quality contributions. So, lets be creative!
You will also know that we have modified our plans. We had DeepSend in mind but it has been delayed to bring VoteCentral to the table and a better version of DeepVault. Our Developers believe that this change is important to allow a healthy development of the project.
I know that more than one thinks that this isn't good, but I must tell.. you are wrong! VoteCentral will allow us to bring a debate to everything we want in the future. We will give ourselves the opportunity to make smarter decisions with the voice of each of our users. (and yes, from what I saw, it looks great!) DeepVault will also be improved, an improved version to really fulfill its purpose and reach a larger audience.. Believe me, it's necessary and it also looks great !!
Our prices are growing. Half of the Airdrops were delivered and stability returns to us. I hope everyone realizes this opportunity, our Airdrops will end sooner or later and it's decisive that you decide in your mind if you will stay with us. Although our price is currently more than one Dollar, I believe without a doubt that our currency is still being underestimated, the potential we have as a Community is enormous. These are good times, but we can certainly achieve much more.
