FOUR THOUSAND YEARS
Four thousand years and more besides,
Europe has been tested;
Defeat and triumph, joy and tears,
Our Europe rarely rested.
Europa was so sorely tried,
Yet single or together,
Europe brought the world to knee,
As birds will be one feather.
Four thousand years, no add some more,
For empires come and go,
Every place her footprint seen,
Her sword gave blow for blow,
Greece and Russia, Venice, Rome,
The lands of earth were trod,
You cannot earn such laurels,
Unless with help of God.
Four thousand years, again a threat,
Betrayed by those within,
The Godless open floodgates,
To let invaders in,
Now leaderless, divided,
Abandoned by our own,
Betrayed by traitors of the blood,
To kneel at Zion’s throne.
Four thousand years, the world looks on,
Shall blood resist or cede,
Will men today be cowards?
Unworthy of their seed.
We’re not the last of yesterday,
We’ll not plough stranger’s furrow,
Our blood shall be our leader,
We shall win tomorrow.
