Teamwork: TWB Needs Delegators

in delegation •  6 years ago  (edited)

As we mentioned in our previous post, The Writers’ Block is changing and evolving. Wordrow is soon to be released for public use, providing great creative content for mainstream audiences and eventually onboarding new users. Steemhouse Publishing is hoping to launch our first novel within the next few months. In fact, Advance Review Copies of the novel will be available as soon as we secure a batch of ISBNs.

This is a time when delegations could make the strongest, most positive impact on our community projects. The trip to Steemfest depleted most of our liquid assets, but it was entirely worth the expense. Presenting our ideas to an international audience not only confirmed our suspicion that we’re on to something big, but gave us a chance to network and spend time face to face with some of the brightest minds on the platform. This led to even more collaborative prospects, some we hope to see come to bear very shortly.

Why Do We Need the SP?

Substantial delegated Steem Power would allow us to start building our own stake, as well as reward authors with moderate instead of modest upvotes. This would be especially beneficial for Wordrow content, as that will be edited to professional standards. We will be incurring expenses as we go that the liquid half of payouts can cover, such as the ISBN batch we mentioned, as well as IBPA membership fees and Netgalley expense. Delegated stake will get the momentum going for us, momentum that is badly needed at this stage of the plan.

Delegation of any amount would be appreciated. It takes a lot of small delegations to make a noticeable difference, but that’s good because we want a lot of supporters who feel they are invested in our future. Large delegations would be especially useful here at the beginning of our journey with the front-end and publishing house. We’re focusing on TWB as the account for delegations, because its scope is broader than Steemhouse or Wordrow and it’s the account that represents our entire community, not just one branch of it.

If you’re considering making a delegation, we appreciate the time and thought you’re giving this. We intend to succeed with our projects and make an indelible contribution to both the blockchain universe and the small-press publishing industry. We’ll be happy to discuss our business plans further with any interested parties.
