How to care for cavities
1. Eat lots of vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential for building strong teeth and bones, as it is a major factor in healing cavities. Vitamin D can also help prevent gingivitis because it is an anti-inflammatory.
Calcium flows in and out of your teeth toward the parts of the body that need them, and vitamin D is what governs this process. When we are deficient in vitamin D, your teeth will not get calcium, and even worse, the calcium in your teeth will be taken up by other body parts. As this continues, you will develop periodontal disease and weakened tooth.
Vitamin D is also responsible for creating a cementum that binds teeth to bone in your mouth. The genes that control periodontal disease are regulated by vitamin D-controlled receptors.
Vitamin D can be obtained by morning sunlight, cod liver fermented liver oil, vitamin D supplements, tuna fish, fortified milk, egg yolks, and beef liver.
2. Take lots of vitamin K1 and K2
Dr. Weston Price termed vitamin k as "X-Factor". His research illustrates the case history of a 14-year-old girl with 48 cavities. The girl took vitamin K extract, high vitamin butter oil, and cod liver fermented liver oil three times a day for 7 months. The result is tooth decay and re-mineralized tooth (48 cavities cured and 24 teeth have new tooth enamel).
Studies show that vitamin K can utilize special proteins that have the ability to distribute calcium and phosphorus in teeth and bones. Dr. Price found that calcium and phosphorus imbalances will lead to a number of diseases in the body, such as cavities and tooth infections.
Vitamin K can be obtained from kale, spinach, green mustard, collard green, green beet, green turnip, paterseli, broccoli, cabbage, beef, egg, cheese, butter, cod liver fermented liver oil and vitamin K supplements.
