let me present you my recent work. 2 versions of letterhead design.
TIP: When designing letterheads, make sure you design typography. Graphics are secondary.
Try to make as many versions as possible and let client choose what he likes.
If the client has multiple brands / companies, it might be best for him to have similar letterheads in terms of typography and design.

One comment: Having too many options makes people having a harder time deciding. Maybe you could try to have just a few (say 3) options and work with the client to improve one of them. It's probably a better use of your time...
