Meghan Maconochie, a school teacher and artist in South Africa, cobbled together various patterns and created a group of lively pictures based on the shavings of pencil. From small animals to portraits, each work is done by Meghan personally sharpening pencils, and then stacking the crumbs on paper or cards, which can be said to break the traditional perception of pencil sharpening.
