Hello Steemian friends!
Note: I have to recopy this blog as something went wrong with the previously uploaded pic!
Today, I am featuring a no-bake dessert and less sugar Tiramisu... You can easily make this in half an hour provided all ingredients are ready... Instead of the real sugar, I used stevia powder , so anyone who has issues on sugar can enjoy this scrumptious and mouthwatering dessert-
Please take note that the the original recipe calls for 150 gr. sugar...and since I am using the sugar substitute Stevia, what I did to measure the 150 gr sugar is to put this in a container and count the sugar in terms of spoons... The ratio of sugar and stevia is 1:1 .. so the same physical spoon count was made to replace the sugar. Depending on your sweet taste you may add a spoon or two as you mix the ingredients.
TIRAMISU
Ingredients:
500 g Mascarpone Cheese
3 Eggs or 6 yolks
8-10 tablespoons Stevia powder ( sugar substitute)
approx. 30pcs of lady fingers or
Savoiardi biscuits (as shown in the photo)
1/3 liter brewed or instant coffee
Preparation:
Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy and fold this carefully to the Mascarpone cheese, set aside.
Dip the biscuits into the mixture of coffee and rum and set the biscuits into a glass container as the first layer.
Pour Mascarpone/Egg mixture to the top of the biscuits as second layer.
Add the dipped biscuits once more alternately with the cheese being the top layer.
Sift the cocoa powder onto the top layer until the whole surface of the Mascarpone is covered by the cocoa powder.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours so the cheese gets stiffer before serving.
Berries of your choice can be added as toppings.. in this recipe , I have added raspberries .
Enjoy!
Wow! something I can sink my teeth into! Kudos!
