The carrot market, often also called the most beautiful market of the year, takes place annually on the first Wednesday in November in the old town of Aarau.
The wheel of luck with over a thousand carrot discs has been posted.

Der Karottenmarkt (Rüeblimärt), oft auch der schönste Markt des Jahres genannt, findet jährlich am ersten Mittwoch im November in der Aarauer Altstadt statt.
Das Glücksrad mit über tausend Rüebli-Scheiben sind geposticht.

As the name suggests, carrots in all shapes and varieties are the focus of this market. Here you can find delicious cakes, breads, jams and many other products made from carrots and not only.

Wie der Name vermuten lässt, stehen die Karotten in allen Formen und Varianten im Mittelpunkt, so findet man hier leckere Torten, Brote, Konfitüren und viele weitere Produkte aus Karotten und nicht nur.

I've never heard of the Rueblimarkt.. Wednesday is not ideal but I will try to go there anyway next year :) Last weekend, I visited Kurbisfest in Rudolfingen and it was great. We go there almost every year - it's always first Friday and Saturday in November.

I am sitting at a cafe today, on one of the Caribbean Islands, trying to acknowledge all of the wonderful posts that you put out for the challenge during my absence. I was simply blown away by your kindness and I want to thank you so much for taking the time to put together a @MarketFriday post while I have been away!
