Ein wichtiger Faktor, der dafür gesorgt hat, dass HNT seinen Kurs innerhalb weniger Tage fast verdoppeln konnte, dürfte einer neuen Partnerschaft des Projekts geschuldet sein. Das Team hinter Helium Network hat nämlich kürzlich bekannt gegeben, dass es neben seinen bereits auf der ganzen Welt verteilten Hotspots nun auch mit der Hilfe des Unternehmens Dish 5G-fähige Hotspots anbieten möchte.

Das Team von Helium baut ein kabelloses IoT-Netzwerk auf, das es Geräten (etwa Smartphones, E-Scootern und Smart-TVs) auf der ganzen Welt ermöglichen soll, sich drahtlos mit dem Internet zu verbinden, ohne dass diese einen teuren Mobilfunktarif abschließen müssen.

Bei dieser ambitionierten Mission wird Helium von namhaften Venture-Capital-Firmen unterstützt, darunter Khosla Ventures, FirstMark Capital, GV (ehemals Google Ventures), HSB/MunichRe Ventures und anderen.

Darüber hinaus ist das Wachstum des gesamten Projekts immer noch exponentiell. Anfang Mai 2021 gab es weltweit gerade einmal 32.000 Helium-Hotspots. Inzwischen beläuft sich diese Zahl auf über 300.000 Hotspots.

Aber warum ist der HNT-Token überhaupt wertvoll?

Der HNT-Token wird benötigt, um Transaktionen im Helium-Netzwerk durchzuführen. Darüber hinaus müssen Unternehmen, die die Daten von Hotspots verwenden wollen, HNT kaufen und diese anschließend zerstören. Dadurch verringert sich das Gesamtangebot aller HNT und im Gegenzug dafür erhalten die Unternehmen sogenannte Data Credits. Diese können sie verwenden, um für den Zugang zu Daten bezahlen zu können.

Allerdings sind die Geräte trotz dem Hinzukommen vieler neuer Hotspot-Hersteller immer noch extrem beliebt. Viele Hersteller haben daher relativ lange Lieferzeiten (6-12 Wochen) und auch die Preise für einen einzelnen HNT-Hotspot reichen von 400 bis 1000 Euro. Auf Ebay verkaufen sich manche Modelle sogar für 1.500 Euro.

Anfang Mai 2021 erwirtschaftete ein in Berlin-Mitte positionierter Helium-Hotspot monatlich zwischen 2.000 und 3.000 US-Dollar. Aufgrund des enormen Wachstums des HNT-Netzwerks in Berlin erwirtschaftet derselbe Hotspot inzwischen nur noch 200 bis 300 US-Dollar im Monat. Die Rendite ist also zwar deutlich gesunken, aber bei einer Anfangsinvestition von 400 bis 1000 Dollar hätte man seine Investition nach ein paar Monaten immer noch zurück.

Mein Persönliches Fazit:

Früher oder später könnte ich mir eine Investition in einen HNT Hotspot vorstellen. Zumal in meiner Region noch wenige aufgestellt wurden. Passives Einkommen gehört zu meiner Zukunftsausrichtung. Momentan beschränke ich mich allerdings auf das Wachstumspotenzial denn HNT werden regelmäßig verbrannt.

Somit habe ich einen weiteren Favoriten meiner Kryptoinvestitionen abgearbeitet...

At the beginning of May 2021, a helium hotspot located in Berlin-Mitte generated between 2,000 and 3,000 US dollars per month. Due to the enormous growth of the HNT network in Berlin, the same hotspot now only generates 200 to 300 US dollars a month. My personal conclusion:

Sooner or later, I could envision investing in an HNT hotspot. Especially since a few have been set up in my region. Passive income is part of my future orientation. At the moment, however, I limit myself to the growth potential because HNT are regularly burned.
