Morgenroutine

Hallo liebe Steemians

Heute morgen habe ich einmal an euch gedacht als ich um fünf Uhr morgens meinen Bus klar machte. Die Bilder wurden zwar nicht so besonders aber es zeigt in etwa meine ersten Handgriffe am morgen beim Vorbereiten des Busses. Auf diese Morgenroutine möchte ich in den nächsten Tagen ein wenig detailierter darauf eingehen.

This morning I thought of you once when I was getting my bus ready at five in the morning. The pictures were not so special but it shows about my first steps in the morning while preparing the bus. I would like to go into this morning routine in a little more detail in the next few days.

Denn da gehört noch einiges mehr dazu als die Rückspiegel einzuhängen. Diese werden jeweils am Abend zuvor weg genommen um in die Waschanlage einzufahren.

Because there's a lot more to it than hanging the rear-view mirrors. These are taken away the evening before to enter the car wash.

Nach einem Kontrollgang rund um den Bus um nach eventuellen Schäden Ausschau zu halten gehts an Einrichten des Sitzplatzes. Es ist sehr wichtig dass man richtig gut sitzt, verbringt man doch die nächsten drei bis vier Stunden auf diesem Sitz. Auch die Aussenspiegel werden elektronisch geregelt. Und es müssen noch zwei Computer aufgestartet werden. Der eine ist für die Fahrzeugsteuerung zuständig und der andere regelt die Linienanzeige und Abfahrtszeiten. Hier muss ich auch jeweils die Liniennummer eingeben welche der Bus heute fährt. Dann wird die Anzeige des Fahrziels und die Ansage der Haltestellen automatisch ausgeführt.

After an inspection around the bus to keep an eye out for possible damage, the seat is set up. It is very important that you sit really well as you spend the next three to four hours on this seat. The exterior mirrors are also electronically controlled. And two more computers have to be started up. One is responsible for vehicle control and the other regulates the line display and departure times. Here I also have to enter the line number of the bus today. Then the destination display and the announcement of the stops are executed automatically.

Danach gehts dann an den Kaffeeautomaten zum ersten Kaffee des Tages und man wechselt noch ein paar Worte mit seinen Arbeitskollegen. Da blödeln wir manchmal auch wie kleine Kinder herum und machen allerhand Blödsinn.

Afterwards we go to the coffee machine for the first coffee of the day and exchange a few words with his colleagues. Sometimes we fool around like little children and do all kinds of nonsense.

Zurück im Bus spiele ich jeweils noch etwas auf meinem Handy herum, bis mir der Fahrplancomputer mit seinem Bi-Bip das Zeichen zur Abfahrt gibt. Und ein weiterer Busfahreralltag beginnt. So für heute wäre es alles und morgen erzähle ich euch etwas übers Busfahren am Sonntagmorgen.

Back on the bus I play around on my mobile phone until the timetable computer with its bi-pip gives me the signal to leave. And another bus driver's day begins. So for today it would be all and tomorrow I will tell you something about bus driving on Sunday morning.
