You will do well if you first start investing in Steem. Buy steem then power up, then start interacting with other Steemians by curating their posts. Steemians will notice you and will know that you are committed to the Steem ecosystem and not here to just milk the Steemians. Since you are a developer you should be able to contribute the Steem ecosystem in may ways, other than just curating. Find out how you can contribute your time and resources to contribute to the community. That will go a long way in your marketing.
