Course Duration : Two years (Four semesters)

Class Time: Weekend (Friday and Saturday 3 to 9 pm)

Entry Requirements :

(a) Second class or GPA 2.5 out of 5 in SSC and HSC examinations,
(b) Second class or CGPA 3.0 out of 4 in 4 years Bachelor (in honors) degree or its equivalent,
(c) Second class in 3 years Bachelor degree with one year Master degree or its equivalent, and
(d) Second class in 2 years Bachelor (pass) degree with 2 years Master degree or its equivalent from any recognized university. Persons currently working at GOs, NGOs, International Organizations, media, donor agencies, armed forces and other organizations and having professional experiences in the fields of disaster management, environment, development work, etc. are encouraged to apply.

Admission Test:

A one-hour admission test (MCQ and writen) on geography, environment & disaster related issues, especially on Bangladesh.

Application Procedure :

The filled-in application form along with all necessary documents (e.g. 3 attested copies of passport size photographs, attested copies of certificates and mark sheets of all examinations). can be submitted directly to the contract address by hand (MSDM office) or by post. Forms will be availeble from 01 November 2019.

Last Date of Application: 23 November 2019 (Thursday) .
Date & Place of Writen Test: 13 December 2019 Friday at 3.30 pm, Department of Geography and Environment, DU .
Viva: 20-21 December 2019 (Saturday-Sunday) from 3 pm .
Publication of Result: 23 December 2019 on Department Notice Board/ Website.
Admission Period: 24-31 December 2019 .
Orientation and Class Start 3 January 2019 Friday at 3 pm.
