A digital certificate is associate degree attachment labeled to an email correspondence
for security purposes. It permits the sender of a message to be verified
by the recipient, that the sender is really the person he or she claims to be.
In addition, it allows the recipient to reply to the message in a very ‘secure’ way,
in order that solely the sender of the initial message and no-one else receives it.
