As we can see the state department doesn't want to start to attack the corruption issues plaguing this dep since a long time. First and foremost the guilty should at least be prosecuted, and some face treason charges. the damages they have done to loot with the clinton and their gang is beyond belief. Then it should be rebooted and rebraned : the department of diplomacy and embark on true diplomacy, not endless negotiation that end in nothing or bribe and loot opportunities.

But the core transformation is about how others are seen. What is the point to make trades, when gifts are way more powerful. I take an example, to trade gulen to turkey for something in return from turkey is very boring and complex and worst time consuming. Rather than waste resources on this, it is way simpler to give gulen doa to the turks and wait for their moves.

It's way way way smarter, as it given them breathing and reflexion room. They can chose to replicate lower, same or even bigger... and that's how real honest unbiased less corruption prone and less resource intense diplomacy is done.

And as always, if it fails.... it's always possible to invade and kill everyone involved...
