Sometimes you don't have availability to use bot to ban a user, who violate the rules and immediately left the server. An example: game companies, publishers don't like adding 3rd parties bots on their Discord server.
So how moderators can deal with them on those?
- Ask user to give you Discord tag of violator;
- Send a message on Discord server, on which he violated rules:
@nickname#000, if user shows up, make right click on his nickname and select ban.
What to do if it doesn't appear, doesn't click?
1. You need to enable developer mode in Discord, do not worry, it doesn’t activate anything terrible, it only adds additional options to the context menus.
2. Add the user as a friend.
3. Copy his ID and start a dialogue with him.
4. Send to any text channel on the Discord server, on which you want to block the user, a message with the following content: <@hisid>, for example, <@466293410848964609>.
